Question about Turtle Wax stuff.....

I just saw a commercial for that Turtle Wax color cure stuff that is supposed to get rid of scratches....I was wondering how this stuff is and if it really works...I have a couple of scratches on my front and rear bumpers that I would love to get rid of...any opinions ??

If its the Turtle Wax Scratch and Swirl remover, dont bother. Spend your money on a nice wax instead.

I was curious, so I tried it. It only very temporarily covers up minor scratches and then it rubs off... And that lipstick thing that comes with it, forget it, doesn't work. Get some nice wax, swirl remover, and/or polish.

Do a search on wax, scratch/swirl remover and you'll net plenty of informative posts... (Search function is located on the top right corner of the screen)

None of which you will find anyone recommending the Turtle Wax brand, period.

Try reading up:

IMO- very good write-ups on car detailing, paintcare etc.

armorall and any leather dash cleaner or whatever ... check to see if they have silicates - if so dump them bc they turn rubber brown and crack vynal over time, short periods of time.... to keep your dash dust free and looking new get the california duster - the mini one for the interior ...
