I didn't watch the video (won't play for some odd reason)..but let me get this straight...the driver gets out of the car WHILE moving and gets back in?? How fast is he going?? If its idling along..its not that bad..
what exactly is he doing?? I doubt he's from the Org..if he was his tails would be cleared.

If they did make a track, would people go? I mean law enforcment one of the major factors in the rush of this sport. Here in atl, i don't know if it's true or not but i heard they oppened up satellite bvd. from 2-5 am at night to race.. Cops actually block off both sides and supervise the whole thing. This is what i heard.. knowing the cops around here i doubt its true.

That was a great video. It actually promoted street racing, sort of defending us. That reporter was cool. I wish more police were like that last guy, saying that he wishes they would open up a public street for racing...I know I wish they would here in Portland.

It does not hurt to go up to a cop and ask him if in fact that is true. Most cops are cool if you go and ask them a question. Find out becuase I should be moving to Atlanta area in about 10 weeks. I am sure me and nismo2020 would like to go and race out there if not we can just go to the good old track.

I dont get why somebody doesnt buy some swamp land and drain it and make their own 1/4 mile strip. I mean comeon, its south FL, theres people there who make $1 million a week. That would be a great investment too, considering the return, and how drag racing has been around forever and will never get old. When I used to live there, I remember the closest drag strip was 2 hours away, and I bet it was always packed. I've also noticed a trend, any area that does not have a real drag strip within an hour or so tend to get alot of people street racing. Just look at this forum or the other forums. It dont help with that F&F movie either.

Like i said, it's just a rumor i heard. I'm sure if somebody called the PD they would say. I'm actually about 30 mins north of downtown, so i don't see what's going on down there. Nismo, what part of atl are u from?

That is a bunch of BS. I live 5 minutes from there, and it's not happening. Plus it's Duluth, and we all know how much Duluth cops love writing tickets.
And how is law enforcement part of the rush? So you can be a "pretend gangbanging thug running from the pigs"? Tell all your friends how the "man wanted to mess with you last night and if you just had yo gat you would have busted a cap in his ***?" The rush comes from racing your car. If you get a rush running from the cops, you have issues. Go shoplift or flip off a cop if you like the rush of being chased by the police.
