Body Kit Style: Need your opinion

What do you guys think of this kit? It's Piopremier's custom modified Sarona kit. We've been talking and I really like it and I'm thinking about putting it into production, but obviously need to know what you guys think since you are my customer base and if you guys don't like it, then I lose money. I really like the work he did on the front. The sides and back are still standard Sarona. I don't think we'd do anything with the sides because everybody I've talked to agrees that not much could be done to them since they look really nice already. The back bumper we may work on some.

Improve on Sarona quality and find a place for the license plate to go and you're set. I think everyone agrees the Sarona kit looks good, especially Piopremiers, but their quality is another thing.

Oh the quality would be much better. I'm having the kit made locally now so I won't have to worry about quality control so much, I can just drive down to the shop. But I'm not really sure what can be done about the license plate thing. It's the inherent disadvantage with any fiberglass aftermarket bodykit. That's why you see so many Honda/Acura guys with license plates on the mesh in the bumper, or on their dashboard.

That's illegal around here. Maybe someone can make a mount for it to fit in the large air damn. I mean afterall it's just 2 screws. Or maybe a mount can be made to come out of the large airdamn so that it can hand where is normaly does. That seems feasible - the license plate would use the 2 screws on the bottom... Sorry to make a such a big deal of it but it might matter to some as it is the law around here.

No, I definitely understand. I'm just not too familiar with how to solve the problem. Here in Georgia, we don't need front plates, so I don't get a chance to see too many modified cars and how they attached their front plates. But any ideas you have I'll definitely consider.

Virginia. I couldn't even pass inspection with a windsheild banner on my car (and it was less that 6" down from the top). This damn state sucks (no radar detectors, no banners, have to have plate )

It's original and very hot but I think it might look better with more of a lip/flare at the front instead of boxed.

Shadow,

I love the sides. Will they flow good with my Stillen front lip? They look like they would. And about that rear peice, is it a whole bumper replacement? If so then I couldn't get it becuase of my duals.

Any idea's of the prices? Hopefully these will be polyurethane like stillens. I would probubly be looking into the side skirts and finish my kit off with $tealin's rears.

Can anyone photoshop those pics and make the car black? (*cough* GTR_Rider, Soundmike, *Cough*). I love the air damns on the side skirts, but would it really be worth it, I don't know if it would be entirely visible on a darker car.

Why don't we remanufacture Sarona's kit so that its quality is not an issue? The kit Shadow has on his car looks great and no changes are necessary except quality.

Yea, I got it mixed up right about here:

If the Department of Revenue gives you two plates, you must place one on the front and one on the back of your vehicle. If you have a trailer or a motorcycle, you will only receive one plate, which must be on the back of your vehicle.

I mixed the two sentences together

Once again you guys are going off topic from the original post. I know the front license plate is important but shadow is asking opinion about the kit.

It looks sweet . I'm just not feelin the rear. It's just, Out there i guess. Keep the rear, use the front bumper and get the stillen skirts/sides. If only I could put it on a 3rd gen, that would be pretty phat!!!

shadow i like the kit and would definately be interested. piopremier did a great job on it.

as for the plate... in ny we need a front plate (yes it's a big deal in queens - i get a ticket for it everytime i try to go a few days without it). the modded cars around here just put it in the lower grille onto some mesh and it works fine.

well thanks to those who have said good things about it i worked pretty hard on it. As far as what were asking here is the front bumper only. Were trying to guage intrest on if it will sell or not. As of now there are only 3 kits we can get as a maxima driver. The Razzi kit, the stillen which is just a lip, or the Sarona which is really a stillen lip attached to the stock bumper. I wanted another option. Something that wasn't the regular wide body, super aggressive, riced out look. So i figured that the maxima is a nice clean car and i wanted to keep that look and add a little kick. That is what i came up with. I wanted to get it done in time for spring break in daytona since that is the hopped up car meca. In a sea of black widow, and large mouth kits mine stood out. The guys in the car with me were like, People are taking pics of your car like crazy man. People were asking me where i got it, and telling me how much they like it so i was pleased. Bottom line is were trying to give Maxima owners another choice so if ya like it let us know so we can get it to ya. Later
