Does Dry Ice help with dings????????
#2
I think it's illegal for jsut anyone to buy it in some places. If I could buy it, I'd have alot of fun with it...
If you have or can find a CO2 fire extinguisher, put a towel over the nozzle, and dischagre the extinguisher. There should be some nice chunks of dry ice in the towel. You don't need to use the whole extinguisher either.

I was unfortunate enough to live in desolate west Texas for nine years of my life. Hail, anywhere from the size of peas to grapefruit, would occasionally fall from the sky. I knew alot of people who would let their car get really hot out in the sun, put a thin rag over the hail dent, and then place a piece of dry ice on top of the rag. Sure enough, if the dent wasn't too bad, the extreme cold of the dry ice would contract the hot metal and the dent would disappear. It wouldn't take out the large dents, but the smaller ones would pop right out. I never tried it myself, I just paid a little extra on my insurance to have a zero dollar deductible. It more than paid off after three hail storms damaging my cars!
Check the yellow pages for ice stores in your area, they should be able to help you out.
