New best time!!!

Went to the races again, third time this week

13.2et @ 109mph 2.0-60'on juice with drags.

I also went to the street races tonight. Beat a Lightning with a chip and exhaust, a suped up 5.0, LS300, Q45 and a couple Max's. I got beat by a boosted Miata

He called me out after a I beat the Lightning and the 5.0, my clutch was gone but I said what the heck. No excuses, he got me!

I actually know some boosted Miata guy down here. Hes running 10 pounds of boost w/ a turbo. Pretty much a street sleeper. Pretty damn fast I would guess hes in the low 13s/mid 12s now.

Boy, I sure wish I lived 30min from your house, so you can install NOS on my car for a good price. At least you won't have to take apart the intake to drill the nozzle in, because mine's pre-drilled, because it used to be yours. hehehe.

Seeing Matt's car in action was pretty awesome. I didn't go this time, but I was there when he hit 13.3, there was even a video of that run. And yes, that was me he spanked in the video.

Only downside is that I know there's no way I'm going to even come close to achieving that kind of time. It doesn't matter what I do to this darn automagic. Oh well, maybe it's time to go all out show.

I just use it at the track. I have it on an on/off switch in conjunction with an RPM switch and full throttle switch. I can modulate tha activation with the gas pedal via the full throttle switch. I launch and after I hook I floor it in 1st. It spins then I soft shift it into 2nd and it goes a bit better. If I power shift it into second its all spin. I think next Sunday I'll bring the juice to the street races for that Miata

Michoud by Nasa ~10:30pm, then at the end of Haynes after the cops ran us off.

Mike, he was FAST! Tom at Lightning Motorsports was telling me about him. He has dyno tuned him and IIRC ~300whp!

Well, Wifey and son are outa town for two weeks, LMFAO. Aint no way in tarnation I'd be doing this if she was in town. She's actually very resonable about my car addiction though. The track is ok with her, but street racing she's understandably not cool with.

When you get maried and have kids just remember it goes both ways between you and your spouce, give a little and get a little, but put the kids first!

PS; She dosent even want me to take her for a fast ride in the car. LMFAO!!!!

I wonder how youll explain to your wife, Baby my clutch went out!!! she'll look at you and say I wonder why? anyways I wanted to go but my wife started tripping, no no didnt you have enough racing for today? ooh well Ill go this Sunday coming up, I have already like 3 escorts that wanted to take me out there to include that guy with the lightning, and if it was a black lightning with black rims, hispanic dude then thats him, hes cool guy. Man I missed it, but we have this sunday if you go again. Mike you coming or what?

Carl I ran a 14.6 with my heavy wheels on I didnt drop the tire pressure at the track yesterday, and that is my best time so far, but Ill remove my big 18's next time and see what I get. I raced a GTP and a girl was driving my wife was there watching me and she asked that girl didnt beat you did she? I was like no way I pulled away from her in 2nd gear. Good job dude!

I am supposed to race at Bandimere this Saturday. Having second thoughts cos my clutch is slipping so bad. It holds on low boost barely (5.5psi) but on high boost (9.3) it jumps from 4000 rpm to redline in 2 seconds! I will be running 19s at Bandimere with that!

When I went 11.9 it was on a slippin clutch (something you seem to know about), stock head, and 15psi. (The MPH was 119, which shows the slipping clutch, should of gone ~11.4) Last night was on fully ported and polished head, 4 puck non slipping clutch, and ONLY 9psi!!! The car on the new head @ 9psi feels close to to 15psi on stock head. I am going to Lightning to Dyno once again in the morning on Wednesday and going to NPR that night... Maybe some LOW 11's....
