What are those 4 plugs, on the side of the valve cover? I live in California, and my car does not have those plugs. What do they do?

Engine degreaser from any auto parts store. Just spray it on and hose it off.

I used to use Simple Green and it cleans nice, but it has a tendency to etch metal surfaces. Your intake manifold will start to become "ashy looking". I then switched to using Espree Wheel Cleaner (green). It cleans the same a Simple Green, but it doesn't harm the metal surfaces. It actually brightens the metal after cleaning. Just a tip.

What is this!

There is a sensor in that pic that I don't have in my car! What is it for? Please click my link and let me know what it is. Maybe it is another California emissions thing
