Bosch +4 wear results are in

In all of the prior experiences from other members in dealing with the Bosch +4's, I decided to remove them from my car to see what I'd find. Most of the results in using the Bosch +4's have been very negative. Things like the electrodes being completely burned away kind of had me concerned.
Truely, I couldn't understand what people were talking about because I've run the plugs for about 25,000 miles and this is what my plugs look like:

The third one looks kind of dark but nothing I'd be concerned about. While running these plugs, I was able to achieve 15.6 in the 1/4 mile stock. The slight low end loss is gone now that I switched back to the NGK's therefore I'm curious to see what times I could get with the new plugs.

Although I don't have many bad things to say for the Bosch +4's, they held up well in my car especially with all of the abuse I've put them thru in the last year.

I'm really curious about the driving styles of the people that had problems. I figure that I was really abusing these plugs when running with the MA/CT Crew to meets in NJ, DC and in NYC. Plus I've run back and forth to the Pike and NYC numerous times and these plugs still look decent.

woooah!

I am not so sure. I mean, they look Ok. But that last plug should be telling you a story. Unless you dropped it in the mud, you have a different buring pattern going within one of your cylinders. I'd check that out!

I'm guessing that when I put them in, I added a little more lube to it than the others. I'd really be concerned if he spark area was covered in oil.

I had the Bosch +4's in my old Maxima, and even though I didn't have any major problems I did not put them in a second time, and I took them out with only 25k on them. When they first went in though I got some very weird feed back from my radio for some reason?? After 30 min of driving though that went away and never came back, but was very disturbing at the time.

Aw well, bump again

Those plugs look pretty good deezo. The plugs I pulled out of the Infiniti after 12K miles had absolutely no electrode left. Just a got where it once stood. Amazing how one car can burn them up in no time, and yet another one runs well with these.

Nice write up and PIC. I came to similar conclusion with my Tokicos as you have with your BOSCH. Even though yours were fine, there have been many troublesome reports. My Tokico Blues are fine, but there are lots of war stories about those too.

Nah, I'm not selling people on putting them into the Max. From my experience, I wouldn't recommend them because of the power loss under 3K. My car ran good with them but others haven't but I'll tell you this, the NGK's can't be beat.

Well, after you had that issue, I needed to get them out to see if the same was happening to mine.
