Sprint Spring Users:
I was talkin to a few enthusiasts of other makes (acura, camry) and they tell me that Sprint springs have a reputation of starting to sag early, hence why you can pick them up for $130 where Eibachs would go for $200+.
I was hoping that the rear springs would be stiffer or at least as stiff as the fronts, because I carry extra baggage in the rear (stereo, trailer hitch) and when I tow a trailer, I want to have that extra control available. Hmm, maybe I can combine the front drop of the sprint springs with the rear springs from a different set.
So 2 basic questions:
1) has the sprint springs showed any signs of sagging/loosing their strength
2) Which spring is stiff in the rear and I dont mind if it is a little higher then usual.

Do springs really sag?
I put as much a stress as you can put into my stock SE springs for 110K miles, and they didn't sag. One time, I had 4 rice bags (50 pounds each) in my trunk, and 5 people in my car and I travelled for 4.5 hours. I did that quite often. My car looked like a jet getting ready to take off. lol
But I did witness a set of sagged Progress springs. I hope Sprints are of high quality, because I ordered some springs called Matrix and I am convinced that they come off the same assembly line as Sprints...

2. Sprints are a little softer in the rear that in the front I believe. However subs and other heavy materials won't bring the trunk down (even to level height ), because they are so stiff and have such tight coils. Believe me people have put 100+ lbs of audio equipment in the trunk and it doesn't go down a bit. As for the trailer, that's another ball game . I'm sure that will bring it down, but you mights be a little too low for the trailer hitch to handle bumps at some points...
