Ypipe ranting

its a great dissapointment when your stock pipe is off after a whole lot of work and your thinking, "great the last little bit will be the easy part", you slide the pipe over the front sway bar, align the rear header studs up, and then go to line the front stud into place and they just won't go by about 1/2 an inch, why can't warpspeed make a pipe that fits, i got my pipe from you guys because your supposed to have better craftsmenship than budget and cattman, on top of that the pipe took a little less than a month to arrive after my order was placed, where is the great customer service and quality that warpspeed is known for?

now that my rant is finished, what can i do to make the pipe fit?

i know i can take the pipe down to a shop and have them bend it but i dont see why i should pay to fix someone else's mistake.

That sucks. Have you tried calling them or emailing them. Dan and Dallas have always been great with customer service. Might be a good idea to contact them directly rather than posting. Good luck getting that pipe on, it makes a hell of a difference.

WSP y-pipe

nardo'89SE, Just so you and everyone else is clear on this. Dallas and I Do NOT do customer service on Maxima.org. We have not heard from you, so how can we deal with this issue? We sell over 25 y-pipes weekly. How can we know who you are? I recommend picking up the phone and leaving a message or talking to Dallas. Of the several calls we have got on fitment issues, it is usually a missing gasket, lack of tightening up bolts or trying to install the wrong model of y-pipe on the wrong car. Since Madam Cleo has been banned by the Arkansas Attorney general, we can no longer use her for customer service complaints.Try using the phone.

Im sorry for ranting on the org. I was trying to do two things; Express my frustration and ask for help. I did get the pipe on but i needed a little help. Its hard when you stuck in a job to not get ****ed off, but I relize that you are one of the few aftermarket companies supporting the maxima crowd and that you guys doing a pretty good job at doing what your doing. Ill post my impressions and tips later on, probably tomarrow.

I got mine last week after only about a week after the order. It went on like a dream w/o any fuzz. I have been waiting to report my impressions until I go to the dyno next week. Let me put it this way so far with the 'ol butt dyno.....
