Oil Cooler

Has anyone noticed on the 2002 Maximas, they have oil coolers installed on the engine already? It looks like it's mounted from the oil filter much like those aftermarket oil coolers. I wonder if it's a nissan part or if Greg from www.greghome.com installed something... I saw it on a pic from his website.

If this is stock, I wonder if it would fit on the VQ30DE engines, what parts, and how much from Nissan.

Anyone know? Guys from the dealerships?

Oil cooler kit, if it has one it will look like a small radiator type thing and it will have two hoses that go to it, one to flow the oil in and another to exit back into that adapter type thing. I have one thats how I know. That just looks like an adapter to use a larger diameter filter.

what about the two holes that with OEM look alike clamps leading from it?

I think if that's stock it may be because of the larger high hp engine.
