Take dry ice to the track with you?

Ok this idea sounds really dumb, and it is... could you get a block of dry ice and drop it into your fender wells so the CAI would suck that up. Hey, at least i am thinking.

dry ice is made of co2 i believe
i'm not sure but i dont think
your engine would work any better sucking in co2,
as cold as it is

Yes it is, but it will cool down the air being sucked in.

or put it inside the engine compartment and cool the intake pipe down before the run...

A lot of guys I know who raced did something like that. They would have a container that surrounded the intake plumbing and they would put dry or regular ice or even freon into it. They called it an Ice box.

Cheap way to cool down your intake

Just grab a bad of regular ice and slap it on your intake manifold to cool it down between runs. No substitue for N20 or water/alcohol injection though but I am sure that this would help.
