Just installed PR poly engine mounts on AT

Just installed PR Poly Racing Engine mounts on my AT max. LOTS of VIBRATION from Idle to 1500rpm. But pretty smooth after that. The stock front mount had a electronic sensor that had to be disconnected...so far no engine check light.. Anyone know if the engine vibration mellows out after the mounts break in or somthing.

Vibration was the #1 reason I got rid of mine. And mines a 5 speed. Yours must be a nightmare with that torque converter to idle up against.

Yeah the vibration gets pretty bad when coasting at 40-45mph....
Im thinking about putting the stock ones back

adjust your idle when the car is warm 800 to 900 RPM's, I bought Eric Wongs motor mounts and yes that is the first thing I noticed I was like WT heck!! is no big deal I barely get no wheel hop especially with my 18's no hop at all.

Re: Re: Vibration

Is it ok to increase the idle on an automatic...doesnt that place more stress on it when its at rest and the tranny is in drive..

Mine have mellowed out.

I upped the RPM's at idle to 800. Before I upped it though, the thing about shook itself to pieces. They seem to get a little smoother the longer they're in there. I don't even notice it that much anymore. It feels cool when you get in and start the engine. You can actually feel the engine cranking over.

I got rid of mine as did Eric. I just couldn't stand the vibration...even with the idle turned up...still to much for a daily driver IMO. I do miss how much they got rid of wheel hop though.

yea i contemplate selling my mounts alot too. they will break in a bit after driving a week or so and get a tad bit better. Sometimes doesnt seem like its worth it on a daily driver.

Yesterday after reading this post I was like I dont feel no vibration no more, so Turbo95 dont sell them it will go away you wont feel it as much. Good Mod for the money, You will only feel it if your at stand still at about 5-600RPMS, other then that you dont feel it.
