Need your opinion, splash guards
Should I leave the splash guards on my MAx or just take them off? I plan on lowering my car in the near future, but I don't think I'm going to put a kit on. If I do decide to take them off, what do I do with the srcew holes that will be left in the car? Any thoughts?
They go into existing holes in your wheel well. If you're going to paint them, I think they're worth the money. But if you're going to leave them black then don't bother because they detract from the beauty of the Maxima. They're very easy to take on and off, but they're not cheap, especially if you want to paint them. Oh and when you get side-skirts they will have to go.

Keep them. My car didn't come with them and I purchased them from someone on here. They do make your car look lower, and you won't have a problem when your car is lowered. They are very durable and I scrape them over speed bumps all the time, but they are still just fine. Not to mention they keep you from kicking mud all over the sides of your car, especially the rear bumper.

Definitely leave them on, but paint them body color.

My car is black so they are already the color. Should I still paint them? And did you paint it yourself or had it done at a shop? Will the paint crack when the splash guards bend?

And no, you will not crack your splash guard paint. Just make sure you (or the body shop) uses a ton of flex.
I have bent them a couple of times while at discount tire's car lift, but no cracks whatsoever. I had a professional shop do it. Cost me $50. The reason mine was high because I have a three stage paint (Icelandic Pearl White).
Your car should not be more than $30...
