I'm probably behind in the news, but I just read an article on Overboost talking about the movie, and the guy who owns te Supra also has a Max being rented out for the movie.

That interior shot IS a HONDA......Its not the Maxima.

Look closely.

 

The hood louvers are sweet too.

 

Yeah, and you can tell because in the full body shot, the seats are black leather, not blue.

 

The owner of the blue Maxima runs the NIRA events for all
the import drag racing. GotRoce and I talked to him in October, all 5 maximas were parked at the end of the track near his NIRA tent. he saw the maximas and walked over, saw
my engine and wanted to know how I did it. Then he showed us pictures of both his cars and that they were both in the new "Redline" movie. They made 5 replicas of his Supra, he was not happy with the color and stickers that they put on the side on the car but they gave him lot of money to put it back to the way it was before they messed with it.

Seems his wife drives and shows show the blue Maxima and he was looking for more ideas to do for show points. The polished intake manifold was something very new to him. It does look sweet. We also told him about the rear tail lights and that the orange reflecter can be taken out, he seemed
very happy after talking with us and I would love to see
if he does any of the things we recommended.
