How is their service, and do they send things on time? With their 33% coupon, some of their products are at really great prices. Also, they dont list Tokico shocks for a 4th gen Max on their site, do they have them? Thanks. BTW, what are the part number on the shocks/struts I'll need for a 96 Max GLE. Thanks.

 

Haha..I'm guessing they serously f#$*d up Cheston's order...LOL. I heard they suck big time...I don't mind waiting two weeks for them to deliver, but I don't want them to deliver the wrong stuff, or take 8 years.

Yup, they suck big time. They sent me the wrong stuff and their customer service sucked too when I tried to call and explain my problem. Still isn't resolved yet. I would take extreme caution when ordering with them. I didn't listen to Cheston and he told me to be careful. Order from somewhere else instead!

Check out http://www.ptuning.com also. I have ordered from them and they rule. They are fast and cheap too. Great customer service! I don't know if the have shocks but they might. Check em out just for the heck of it. Good luck. I am glad we saved you from the horrors of Carparts.com.

 

cuz i just ordered my Tokico's from them today...
couldnt pass up the deal though...
a set of 4 Tokico's for $243 + shipping...
for that price i dont care if it takes 2 weeks for delivery.

 

customer service isn't in carparts.com's vocabulary. Try asking any simple question and they'll have to ask someone "above" them for an answer cuz the reps don't know the difference between a distributor vs. a coil pack. If you order something, hope it arrives by your next birthday!

 

Yeah Carparts.com service sucks but think of the upside.

Like pets.com, priceline.com, etc. if they keep selling at or below cost (ie 33% off) someday they too might go under. Maybe after they ship and before they bill you? Or before you can return that last mis-shipment?

Just hoping.

Cross your fingers.....ordered my suspension set up from
them(H&R/Tokicos)using the coupons. No problems, all items
arrived about 10 days after order placed. Good luck.
