I'm wondering the same thing, I've emailed the guy from EatRiceZone a few times but he never responds. I'm going to call Stillen tomorrow and see if their kit (not the big brake one)will fit the 2002.

Well ...... you guys can get the 300ZX calipers from junkyards and 3000GT Rotors to upgrade your brakes. It may fit. Who knows.

well for those to fit pre 2k2 maximas you have to mill the rotors down 3mm to fit inside them BTU the 2k2 ones are 16mm bigger so... i dont think those calipers will work, maybe the 350Z ones.

I sent several responses but they got bounced back. I gave up after 3 emails.

The 02 have the same spindle/ knuckle as the 2000-2001 but
different calipers and rotors. Stillen is in the process of having 02 rotors and pads made.

Does this mean that 2k2 rotors and calipers would be a direct bolt on application to both 4th and 5th gens? Are the 2000-01 spindles or knuckles or brakes different in any way than the 4th gen?

You wouldn't want to downgrade. Just wait and aftermarket rotors/pads will be available.

What do you mean? Do you mean a downgrade from my current setup? I was asking because it seems like it might be a cheap and easy alternative to a big brake kit... 16mm larger rotors would be nice.

I think the hub is the same. The difference is the thickness of the rotors between the 4th Gen and the 5th Gen.

I read your question too fast and read it as asking if the 4th gen setup can be installed on the 5th gen.
