sticking clutch??

my brother has a camry 5-speed, his clutch wants to stick to the floor when shifting, you almost have to pull it back off the floor...

what would cause this, does anyone know?

(i would have asked this on a toyota forum, but am not a part of any)

thanks

Air in the system, or a weak slave cylinder or master cylinder are possibilities. Have you tried bleeding the system?
