RIM Security

I always though my rims were fairly safe from being stolen ( 2 locks on each rim).........but yesterday, my friend had this tool, very similar to a gator grip.... he took off my tire in less then 2 minutes with it - is there any other type of deterent available??? - besides those tire locks - lol

I have 5 locks per rim, on all 4 rims...

They have a special key, which I know you said your friend can bypass with that gator grip thing...but I don't know. The way mine are designed it has a very thin "lip" and a large pattern in the center of the bolt. I am not sure if the gator thing could get a grip on it or not...i think if it was that easy, most of us wouldn't have rims anymore. Besides, from what I heard about the quality of that gator grip, you'd need a new one every 2 or 3 cars...lol
