Help!! My engine sounds like it's cooking popcorn!
Here's the problem. When I go WOT the engine starts hesitating and the car jerks. Now that I've put an intake on I can hear everything, and one of the things I heard sounded like popcorn was being cooked inside the engine. This goes away after I drive around for a while however.

Does anyone have any idea??

did you reconnect ALL of the hoses and wires? You'll hear a growl when you go to WOT. But it shouldn't sound metalic or anything.

Sorry, I didn't make that clear. This was happening before I put the intake on. Now that I have the intake on, I'm able to hear that popcorn sound as it hesitates when I go WOT.

Any ideas?

The car has only 30k miles on it, could it be the plugs?
