No it doesn't. I just states that the new maxima, (which is probably meant as the current 5th gen) is in fact smaller than the Altima.

They are talking production numbers, not vehicle size.

I also don't think that the maxima will necessarily be FWD, because the platform that it is uilt on can accomodate AWD,FWD and RWD.

 

That's what i thought so too initially. But if the 2k4 Max will be built on the Altima platform then that's not the case anymore.

The Skyline platform OTOH is the adaptable one.
