Attn: People who have Hoodpins on their CF hood

Did you do it, i want to do it so bad, but i am worried about it cracking and all that, also if you could tell me what kind of hood pins y'all used i would appreciate that as well. I am not going to drill myself as i do not want to ruin my hood.

-Thank you

i'm goning to use rivets instead of screws to attach the bracket to the hood. looks cleaner, and it's harder to steal the pins.

Thomas, you didn't have any problems due to the sloping hood? Cheston said it wouldn't work (at least if mounted to the radiator support area).

BTW... please send me payment info on the SARD FPR...

it will work, you just have to spend a lot of time getting the lock to line up. mine's mounted to the radiator support also. once you get the piece mounted to the radiator support, just take a hammer and lightly tap on it to get it to the correct angle. i'll PM you about the FPR in a sec.

Any other option on that you can use on a C/F hood. I like the look of the hood w/o hood pins.

Umm...no particular reason I just have dents and scratches on my hood now, and was wondering what kind of options I have, "if" I were to get a C/F hood. And I don't want hoodpins on the hood, but I do a lot of highway driving
