Bought 1 new tire and other 3 are used about %50-. Where should I put it?

I have a 5 speed 3rd gen with LSD! Will it be safe to put it on the front?

Always put it on the back.

At least that's what Costco has done for the last 10 years- when replacing only 1 out of 3 tires that's their policy.

Why exactly I'm not 100% sure.

i think its something to do with you steering with teh front wheels..in the event of rain..you front tires wont lead you away from your intended path...must be just a little bit safer...

I am worried if I put the new one on front it will F up the diff. Because I don't know how sensitive nissan LSD is. My freind who owned a Volvo V70R was told by volvo that the Diff were so sensitive that having unevenly worn tires will burn it out.
