i hear a strange creeking noise, dont sound good. i get no squeaking whatsoever from normal driving etc... and i dont believe i have ABS, i cant steer when i slam on brakes plus i just dont see an ABS in the engine bay anywhere. sounds bad, wondering what it could be, no tell-tale signs of impending doom other than that, and car still stops fine. thanks.

Like as stated above, no matter how hard you hit your brakes they shouldn't make any noise. If the ABS engages, the brake my shutter through the pedal. maybe a little rythmatic noise... but now squeeling
