2001 is 300, should I?

Paint chipping all over, check engine light just came on 0104 (Vechicle Speed Sensor) and bluntly rude Nissan dealers is starting to put the doubt on me about Nissan. If it wasn’t for this site, I may have left them long ago. I don't think I prefer a ysk Maxima over my 4th gen anyhow.
So should I get a is300? Went to look at one today, and it handles very very well (Front and rear SB, and independent on all four), auto 5spd and torsen Limited Slip RWD. And build quality seems to be very good. The E-shift really works, as in you can rev to whatever point before the shift, and the computer will not take over. Plus service treats you right at Lexus!
L-Tune is coming out I hear (TRD for Lexus) and down the rode a twin Turbo setup will work as this is a more refined version of the 97 Supra engine, just N/A. Only bad thing is a 4 month wait for delivery if I get build to order for my color and feature preferences.
Or what other 32K and under cars new or slightly used?
I might just be itching right now and stick with the max, but maybe not.

why wouldn't you??
ok, if one has to have a manual, then forget about IS300. if one really needs the lil extra room a Max provides over IS300, then forget about IS300. if you can't stand the extra few thousands in cost, then forget about IS300...
other than that, why not? it's a luxury brand with treat-you-like-a-king service, RWD with e-shift, HID and all the tricks.
is that even a valid question?

What about the Acura TL?
I expect Honda will pump up the volume on this model in '02, and hopefully give it a minor facelift as well. I think it's a great car for the money, but kinda bland with the auto and "plain-jane" styling.
The IS300 has all the ingredients, but for me, it's a bit small for $30K+. I've heard '01 will bring a manual shift.

If you can afford it go for it. Better car, no matter what people say. =) Personally, I'd wait a year. Stick it out with the max and then get a stick IS (unless you want an auto and then by all means go for it).

An A4 1.8T is the way to go... There are SO many upgrades it's mind boggling... check this... even a 496HP race spec engine for a meesly (sarcastically) $16K
But seriously... an A4 quattro is the way to go.. IMO
