Going to Austrailia, what parts do I need to look for

I am going to be leaving for Austrailia in a few days and I was wondering if there were some parts that were available down there that we can't get easily here, such as VI. If you know of any please let me know so I can keep an eye out for them, also do the maximas in Austrailia have the VI manifold, if they do I might try to pick one up. I searched and didn't relly get any answers so your input would help alot.

The answer is no on the VIs. I don't believe they have any other parts that are of interest to us either. Emax's headers came from NZ, but that didn't end up being a good investment.

I think that there are alot of people looking for the plastic engine cover, and no one as of yet has been able to import it.

That's not a true statement. John (Mr. Cranman) is able to get them.

I am sorry, I was not aware of this. I retract my last statement.

Do they have Cefiro one piece headlights there? If so, and the price was a WHOLE lot cheaper than they have been advertised for here, then I might be interested in some!!

Hey Guys,

TRUST ME....there is nothing of interest down here in Australia for the Maxima....I'm from sydney and if we need performance parts down here, such as a UDP, it has to be ordered from Unorthodox and with installation it costs about $800-$900 depending on the person we go to. Even our Y-Pipes and strut bars have to be custom made!!!

$800-$900 on pullies! That's insanity. A certain .org member would not approve of that at all.

True, $1200US for a good complete engine.

But I'd much rather see you blokes buy some sheepskin seatcovers instead. I'm more than happy to see those hideous things leave the country.
