Spring question

OK, I have a 2K2 with Eibachs on the stock struts (also have FSTB and RSB). I live in NYC and it is a little to bouncy for me. Will aftermarket struts get rid of this or not and if so what kind? Also I was considering perhaps removing the rear springs and putting them back to stock and leaving the Eibachs up front. Has anyone done this and how bad would it affect performance. I absolutely love the way the car handles but sometimes the bouncing can get really annoying. Thanks for any input guys

Re: Spring question

If the ride is bouncy then most likely your shocks are shot. Get a new set of Koni or AGX.

I have only had the springs for a little over a month . Its been the same way since I had them installed. And there is only 3000 miles on the stock shocks.

Dont even bother with Tockicos you say theres alot of bumps in NY, in a couple of months you will need to replace those Tockicos, go with Koni adjustables or KYB adjustables. You can adjust the shock as you please!!

He asked for shocks with closest to stock ride. Koni and AGXs are much stiffer than stock.

I can deal with stiff if it will get rid of the bounce!

Then get KYB AGX. It shouldn't bounce with aftermarket shocks.

I can vouch for that feeling. I have sprints w/ agx shocks set at 3/6 on 18's. I do a lot of bouncing in my car

I don't recommend Tokicos with Eibachs. Do they even ake any aftermarket shocks/struts for the 2k2's?
