Well I haven't seen it in person but I think the real aluminum looks alot better than the brushed. Shouldn't be any more difficult to install though.

FYI I have the brushed.

This site has 3 versions

of aluminum dask kits. I'm not sure how the prices compare
but it might be worth looking into.

Just so you guys know, the dash kits sold by Legend5 are supplied by Perfect Image Creations. They currently have no maxima applications in production. My car is the prototype and final measurements have been made so the kits will be available soon. There are several finishes, brush, satin, titanium, chrome, black chrome, etc. Brushed and satin will be the standard finishes with the others available at extra cost. I'll be selling the kits before Legend5 will, expect it in a couple of weeks. And the real aluminum kits are harder to install than the fake ones. You have to bend the aluminum before you apply it, but it's not that big of a deal.

Did you talk to Chris? I don't see how they can have real aluminum kits ready to ship when they're not finished. Like I said before, the kits won't be done until they're done on my car and that won't be for several weeks. They may have convinced Perfect Image Creations to produce them now based on the final measurements, but until the pieces have been test fitted, there's no guarantee that they are right. I know that Legend5 has had a few returns lately because they tried to sell kits that weren't ready yet (they hadn't been test fitted).

try ebay

ebay sells brushed aluminum kits everyday for about 100 dollars. Granted they are not the best quality but if you are looking for the best quality check it out
