You guys that are really good at photoshop need to play with this car!! It looks as if the ugly wart in the middle of the grill is only disguise so someone try to get rid of that. It looks like this car is a lot of cladding/disguise around the taillights and c-pillar too.

With all of the Nissan similarities (Altima-like profile and rear + 350Z styled doorhandles) there is no doubt in my mind that we are looking at a disguised 6th Gen Maxima.

You want to talk ugly, check this out!

I would take a AWD 4dr Skyline with a 3.5l . But I think I'm going to have to settle for the next Maxima 3.5l rwd irs.

The AWD Skyline (G35) only doesn't come with the 3.5L either here or in Japan.

very cool...

its not a photoshop.. I examined it close and there are no signs of a photoshop edit.

its a covered up prototype
-the door handles look like the 350Z style
-the tails (with the covers taken off). are the right size and shape to mimic the altima
-the rear window line is obviously being hidden but it will look kinda like the G35 / altima
-the front will look a lot better once they put the real grill on it

way too many people in this thread don't understand what they are looking at I guess. the car shows signs that it will be a very nice clean car

I don't know if Brian is a good Photoshop user himself but he said he saw this car on the highway and took the pictures himself.

That's awesome dude. Good work. Personally I think it looks alright. I thought the next gen maxima was gonna be a huge boat but it doesn't look that bad. I guess I was just expecting the worst.

But dude.. .sell those pics to any of the motor mags. Maybe you can make a profit!!!!!!!!

This is photoshopped :)

Ok, the first one is just a play with lighting... as you can see it has quad tips!

The 2nd and 3rd photo below are definitely modified through photoshop (e.g. grill, rear lights, rear pillar)

wow that car looks like a$$, the new altima i thought was a little awkward in styling when it came out but now with that new max its getting ridiculous

no thanks, please take me back to the days of the early 90s when Nissan cars had real styling

I suck at Photoshop, and I did not photoshop it.

I do have very highqualiuty 1280x1024 pictures available, but I figured you guys would leech the hell out of my bandwith if I put those pics up.

If anyone thinks I can seriously sell the highquality shots, please let me know who I should contact.

Oh that thing is going to be ugly if it has that look form the side or even similiar to that in the front. That thing is huge just look at how large it is to that Accord next to it. The Max just keep getting weirder and uglier looking, I guess the 4th and 5th Gens will be saught after alot when that thing arrives next year the last of the sporty looking Maximas. I will hold on to my 97 and 02 for some time

I want a high quality pic for wall paper! Contact motor trend VIA email or something, maybe you can work something out. If your seriuos about making money on this I highly suggest you take them off your page becuase every one can see it now and won't want to pay. Better yet put a mark of some sort to slitely distort the pics, then if Motor trend or someone wants th real pic sell them a high quality pic!

If it looks anything like Nissan's current styling, I still think it's ugly.

Wow great job Brian!

This model looks similar to the spyshots of the prototype Nissan was proposing for the 2003 Maxima. The side has the profile of an Audi A6. The rear however, reminds me too much of Lincoln Towncar (it's kind of a sad frowny Altima rear), and the front with that break in the middle of the grille looks too Renault to me (hmm..I wonder why).

Please be specific in who you call gay. I knew Brian wasn't that great with it and thats why I defended him on the pics.

Actually it looks like the ALtima with a diff front and rear, maybe it is an early revised Altima (with hopefully a BRAND NEW interior).

As you can see, Nissan is taking the Maxima off the long overhang style of the previous maximas(old and dated now) to favor the more of the stretched wheelbase(short overhang style) It's the natural progression. What did you guys think the next maxima was goning to look like?

Did you guys notice the 3gen in the 2nd pic??

I noticed it!

Well, this maxima seems like it could look really sweet with some nice rims, dropped, kit, and tint. I dont know about you but I agree with what Mike is saying and that this could be the nicest maxima yet, aside from the 4th gen

It is the new Max! It's all incognito. You guys should stop judging and wait until the "real" one comes out, then decide wether you like it or not. It's too soon to say it's ugly or slow.

One last word: Warrlocke and SoundMike are freaking gay!!!!
Even if its under disguise, you can stiil tell it is going to be huge in size look at it next to that Accord in that shot. Nissan will lose alot of current Maxima owners to the crowd thats drawn to the Avalon.
