Struts, Springs, Shocks!!!!!!?

My car's ride is softer than the average car. its a 94 maxima. its got 96k miles.

i've been advised to get new struts and new springs. eibach and tokico. but i dont have $600+ for that.

will just new struts make my ride atleast average?
do i need shocks?
i wont spend more than $350....what should i do cuz i hate the feeling that extra g-force around turns and feeling like the side of the car is going to touch the ground

if ur struts are shot to **** u need to get NEW struts immediatley it will only hurt your car's ride. As for springs if u get new struts than yea you can get springs but if you get aftermarket springs w/o new struts you will be an unhappy maxima owner, the ride will SUCK!

You're in kind of a tough spot if all you want to spend is 3 and a half bills. You could get the FSTB and the RSB and have some change left over....or you could just get some springs for $200 and pay someone 100-150 bucks to put them in (or of course do it yourself and save $$). But then your shocks/springs would REALLY wear out quick, since they already have some good milage on them.

Tough call.....

Just get shocks.

Shocks and strut are two terms used interchangably on this forum. Getting aftermarket springs without getting new shocks will only exacerbate the issue. Your ride will be REALLY bouncy and your shocks will be destroyed. What you are experiencing now is either blown shocks or shocks that are about to go. Just getting the new shocks should cost you around $350 and will improve your ride quality AND handling.

Oh and it's absolutely not true that "struts wont do nothing.."
