Chris

Order the harness from Jegs, but lemme tell you my cousin had 90w ones in his 3rd gen and even with the harness they fried. It sucked. Maybe it was the cheap *** lights he bought though.

Chris: Order the harness from >>

Carparts.com

The one they carry is manufactured by APC. You'll definitely need this to run overwattage bulbs.

I've been running them for a week now. Here's a precaution that I like to take...when in bumper-to-bumper traffic...I turn off the headlights and leave only the foglamps on...100W of light heats up the lens real quick...

How easy is it to install the harness? Just wondering because I should probably do the same thing with my 85W bulbs, although I have yet to have a problem with them.

the harness is (IMHO) necessary so the bulbs don't overheat.

i've been running 100W on my APC xenon and APC wire harness over 4 monthes now (and i know of five others on the same setup) and i've had no problems..

it's great and i love it. harness install takes 10 minutes (instructions on my site) and it's pretty nice..

With the APC harness on Carparts.com. . . Can someone give me the part number? The only one that is listed isn't listed when I click on it for order. Also, do I need one or two of them? Thanks.

AdidasBoy: The info on the harness >>

50.9104 is the part number.

And you do only need one. It goes in easily, and you can always yank it out and get your car back to stock condiditon.

Do they make a harness for foglights?

I was wondering b/c if I were to get some higher wattage headlights I would want foglights that would compliment the brightness of the headlights. Where do I get it and how much?

Re: Do they make a harness for foglights?

I wouldn't worry about the foglight harness able to handle the current. I would worry about the foglight lens not able to take all the heat and crack. I'm running 70w Hyper Ind. H3 now. The 85w Hella were too much and crack one of my lens.
