Its cracking with a heat gun too! Whoa dude the fricken rear window is going to be a ***** even with the heat gun. Kiss your defoggers goodbye. You need to just take your time with the heat gun and peel very slowly. It might even help to have a spray of water handy to wet the tint underneath once you get a part of it peeled. The water activates the tint and it should come right off. You must not be heating it long enough. GO SLOW!

Take it to the pro. They have the right solvent and process for the job.

wow, I never used a heat gun with mine. How I did mine was first I took a razor blade and tore the edge a little and after that i just pulled the tint right off. The worst part was getting that F*ckin glue off the windows but the best thing to use is Acitone (nailpolish remover). That is the absolute best stuff. The back window took forever in taking the glue off since you cant use a razor due to the rear defoger. With that I used very fine steel wool (0000) also this stuff called Invisible glass which works amazing. The rest of the windows will work just as well with the steel woll and this Invisible glass stuff. Also the car looks 10 times better without tints ESP with my custom leather seats

p.s. good luck and have fun on that back window

I used a steamer to remove tint from my rear window. It's a tideous process, but the steamer helped get most of the two layers of the film off. It took 3+ hours just to do the back.
