Sigh......why are my brakes pulsing again?......

Dateline:

New Nissan (oem, not key value) rotors 2 summers ago, with new ebc greens. Pads died a year later. New EBC's this fall, turned down rotors. Rotors warp within a month(a different shop may have tightened my wheels too much). Dealer returned them for me free.

Now 6 months later she pulses again. Some is probably comming from the rear drums, but now the wheel is starting to shake a bit. Braking hard from 70 my car sounds like ****.

I think I may go for new nissan rotors, new oem pads, resurface the rear drums. FU@CK, I don't want to spend 300 bucks!

ps-I drive easy

rotors were turned/cut twice. it's probably too thin. too much heat build up = warp rotors. time to get a new set.

Could be those aftermarket pads "bite" the rotors more than OEM. Otherwise it's like you say, WTF is going on? I replaced my pads at around 57k with OEM and didn't turn the rotors. No pulse, no squeal. I remember someone else saying he did the same at 90k without turning.

I'd say it's the pads you're using, as long as you can be certain you really did get OEM rotors. To me it's not worth all the running around to try to get aftermarket brakes, there's just more risk of noise and poor performance.
