My friend at work was talking to me about his friend who just bought his dad a 2002 max. So he has the car for a week (in NYC) and the headlights get stolen. ok then freaky, it probabily wont happen again. 1 day after he gets it fixed and its parked in the street, he wakes up in the morning to find his dads max sitting on bricks with the rims missing. AINT THAT SOMETHING....but thats not it, he leaves thew house and comes back a couple hours later to find the drivers side window broken airbag missing and head lights stolen....ALL WHILE THE CAR WAS ON BRICKS. then when the car went on flat bed it got some underbody damage.......total damage after having the car for 2 weeks.....14,000 dollars. People who steal suck, and I honestly hope those people get what they deserve. I know the new max rims and headlights are hot....but buy your own. Some 60 year old guy can't even enjoy the present from his son because retards in the world either have to have it or need to make a quick buck.....peace.....-Ross

 

This is outrageous. I would suggest installing a small video camera in the car, in case this ever happens again...hopefully not.

Um yeah, he should move out of NYC...it's no fun to drive around anyway.

 

I'm pretty disappointed to see some of the responses advocating violence and killing idiots who take things from your car.

Such instances of these posts have been deleted in this thread and will be deleted out of threads in the future. If it becomes more of a problem, then we'll be forced to start deleting threads entirely.
