Spark Plug Comparision

I a plan on changing out my old plugs and and have found two places to purchase them one is my local dealer @ 17.50 a piece (NGK Platnium) or Courtesy Nissan as a pac of 6 for around 60.00 or so...

Waht is the difference between the two spark plugs will going with the courtesy plugs cause me any problems?

They're probably the same plug (NGK Platinum). I bought mine from Courtesy.

There are 3 different sets of NGK Laser Platinum Plugs, Part Number PFR5G-11 (OEM Plug for 95-00 Maxima) listed on eBay right NOW!!! Each entry has the following heading "NGK Platinum Spark Plugs- Isuzu, Acura, Honda" they each have a bid of $25 for the set of 6. Just go to eBay www.eBay.com and do a search on NGK Platinum Plugs and get your OEM Plugs at a price where you can buy a case of beer for what you save!!!!
Be well!!!! Sheridan

BKR5EIX-11 Stock#5464 - stock heat range for 4th Gen 95-99.

I got a set of 6 of these shipped to me for about 48 bucks. Do NOT pay 17.50 apiece for plugs...ugh.

All of my local Nissan dealers are complete rip offs, when I was doing my tranny and needed parts fast I was forced to go there and it killed me because I was watching the computer screen and it said: Cost: $6 Retail: $9 Price: $13. Fortunately I bought all the other parts I knew I would need before from Courtesy. If you have the time to wait, then I would go no where else but Courtesy, and obviously spark plugs can wait a few days. I have dreams about living in Richardson, Texas where Courtesy would be the local Nissan Dealer.

Thanks,

I agree the dealer our rip offs, and I am going to go through courtesy, I would consider the ebay option but am not all that trusting of it right now.

How about 50 bucks for a steam clean? Sounds good, but haven't had quotes from any where else.
