Would Sub Frame Connectors be effective with the stock suspension?

I have a 98 Maxima SE with the stock (& origonal) springs and struts. I have a RSB and FSTB now and plan to go with the H&R/KYB AGX combo but that may have to wait until next year . I was going to get SFCs as my final handling Mod but after reading Dave Bs glowing review I am thinking about getting them sooner. Would the SFCs help with the stock SE suspention?

I know in one thread Warpspeed stated that if you wanted stage I and II you would have to buy them at the same time to make it fit properly, is this still the case? Has anyone with the stage II converted it to a stage I to see if there was a noticable difference? Anyone who has stage I only, why did you decide that was all that was necessary when the cost difference is small?
