what do u guys think? no performance mod except jwt pop charger. still on sh!tty re92's. think i can break into the 14's if i get a Y-pipe?

i'll let everyone else post their best times...

ps. most of the civics, accords, integras, acura 3.2tl, preludes could not break mid 15's. most were in between high 15's and high 16's.

Nice times!

With a little better traction and quicker 60's you could break into the 14's without a y-pipe. Try lowering tire pressure to about 20 psi..don't do a burnout on street tires, just spin em a bit to get the rocks and stuff off. Take out all the extra crap in your trunk, including the liner, which weighs more than that particle board over your spare tire. Ice on the intake manifold between runs helps too.

I could see you hitting a 14.9 with a 2.3 flat or better 60'

Good luck!

Re: Re: 5/24 Atlanta Dragway results

i did have the rear seat out and no spare so weight was already down. i was running 25 psi in the fronts and 32 in the back. need to try a little bit lower front but also need to raise back up to 40. i think if i just do that, i should be in the low 15.1's. may be able to drop my 60' time w/ the lower tire pressure but i'm not sure if i can break into the 14's w/o a Y. i'll have to keep trying...

pretty alright night

broke into 15 flats, finally. i think tire pressure is my new friend. dropped it down to 28 psi. guess i can go lower. bags should have the videos on site. all i have to say jaime freaking owns commerce. he stomped out everyone he ran; turbo civics, the regular slew of mustangs, and a built SMZ 300.

Naw man, Craig B got listed last because he's Indonesian, it's a racial thing man... It's all about discrimination up in here.

If we would of had some traction, everyone's times would have been much better. My 60' times totally sucked, best I could do was 2.3 something, which last time's religious 2.2's made look sick. Everytime I hit the bottle, I went up in smoke. Once we got past the 330 mark, it was easy to hook up. I ended up with a pretty good trap of 99.12mph. Next time: Less than 3/4 of tank of gas, remove extra weight, lower tire pressure, and work getting better lauches. Oh well, you live and learn. I think I'm running a little rich too, will work on that this week at the dyno.
