Is my spedometer on crack?

EVer since I put in my indiglo gauges my speedo has been slow. When I first accerlate it doesnt even move for the first 15 mph. Then at about 20 mph it comes alive and tries to play catch up.I moved the gauges around a bit and still the same. Are they broken? or do you think if I remove the gauges it will work?

its the price you gotta pay to have a kool dash..........try using some double sided tape towards the inside of the guage and on the outside use some glue(very, very thin layer)

That's backwards. Put the thin glue on the inside diameter of the guages. That's where the needle sticks. You can use double sided tape on the outside, but you may as well stick with the glue. (no pun intended)

Problems for you. I first went to a place to put on my guages and they wouldnt do it cause they said that it would screw up the needles and that if that happend, it would need to be recalibrated or something so they didnt do it cause they didnt want to mess up the needle. I did it myself and I was really careful not to hit the needle so It didnt break on mine. Im not sure that hitting the needle will damage it but I didnt take that chance.

OMG DONT GLUE YOUR GAUGES

Just dont put the needles on so tight. if you didn't take them off then rotate them a few times counter clock wise back to the calibration point while pulling gently away from the gauge face. You needles stick because they drag on the surface of the gauge.
