Maxima gets respect at the car wash

Yesterday I installed the B&G springs and when we were done we decided to get the car washed. I live in an area where BMW's and Benz are me too cars. Everybody's got one. There's a nice full service car wash that does awsome work right by my house and you always see some very hot cars comming through it. So off we go, get in line and there's a new Lexus SC coupe in front of me and a CLK convertable in back of me. Now my car is dirty, except for the wheels which we throughly cleaned while they were off the car. As soon as my buddies and I get out of my car the guys at the car wash are like.. WOW nice Maxima, is that thing lowered? I said yea, we just finished about 20 minutes ago. The guy is like, that's a great looking Maxima the drop is excellent.

I turn to my buddy who just baught an Audi 1.8T and said, out of all these 50 thousand dollar and up cars that come through this car wash, the Maxima gets the compliment!

That made a perfect ending to my day.

NickStam - Yes it's an automatic car wash. Went through with no problems at all.

transportchef - The ride on the B&G's is comparable to H&R. On the highway it's smooth, around town it's tight. Overall I'd say these are very nice springs. Great drop and descent ride.

Not to be a 1ick, but whether nice cars or crappy cars go through it doesn't mean that much. It's still a machine washing the car. Maybe since your car is not black you don't have to worry as much, but a automatic car wash will ruin a black car. Plus, you can't always trust the towels they use to dry it. I'm just not a big fan of car washes.

yea thats an awesome feeling when you put alot of time and work and $$ into your car and people notice it and compliment you. I know that makes me feel good when someone compliments me on my car.
