SC Adjustable?
Is the boost on a V1 SC in any way adjustable?
I'm loking at my SuperCharger and see a hex bolt on top that almost looks like an adjusting bolt...
Thanks!

Ian, what are you planning for the BOV? Are you going to use the plastic Bosch bov that comes with the kit or are you going aftermarket? With the Blitz that I have it is adjustable and this affects your boost. I read in earlier posts about getting the ppphhhssst noise and adjusted it so that it happens easier. The trade-off I found that boost was weakened because the blow-off level was set too low.. Now I have it set that it blows off at a higher level and thus holds the boost longer. I may be wrong on this but this is my observations so far.

3.60 = stock boost 5.5-6psi/safe
3.48 = 6-7 psi/safe
3.33 = 7-8 psi/safe
3.25 = 8-9 psi/pushin safe
3.125 = 9-10 psi / be cautios
2.87 = 10-11 psi / have some internals
2.62 = 11-12 psi / have a spare engine

Hrmm, I've heard the pulleys can put out different boost depending on whether the blower is a V1 or V2.

Well the boost is similar in that range. THanks for the correction.
