As soon as I pulled over to the side I realized that I had forgotten to switch my headlights on from the parking lights. When he introduced him self I said "Right, I forgot to turn on my lights.

His reply, "And you were going 52mph."

"Oh" I say.

Did you get a ticket for the lights too? If not, you could have. Never admit to anything, and they cant hold it against you if you try to fight it.

Were you speeding? Then you deserved the ticket. don't hate the cops for doing their job and "protecting the citizens." if you break the law, be prepared to pay for it. I like to drive fast too, so I regularly get the opportunity donate to the local police force's donutaholics anonymous fund.

 

deserved the ticket?..ive seen cops go 70 in a 35mph, for no reason at all. ive seen them pass red lights for no reason. ive had them pull me over, cuz i "didnt look i was from that area"...not all cops are jerks. but too many of them have power trips.

 

Nah, it was on North Dean in front of Kroger. I was speeding and I do desreve it. It just pisses me off.

 

Well, it's not as bad as my dad getting a ticket for going 35 in a 30mph zone.
