Since header wrap puts more heat stress on our pipes and possibly compromise the strenght of the welds I'd like to know how long members here have been using header wrap.
Please post how long you've been using your header wrap and your personal opinion on rectifying the "bees in a can" noise.
The two options I'm currently exploring are (duh!) header wrap, or replacing the flex section. I have a Stillen 2 piece Y (hahahaha, the "better" version) I called Warpspeed Performance last week to try and order a new flex and haven't heard back from them since. The website (last I checked) does not have prices for the flex section alone. I can't afford the downtime of sending my pipe to them since my OEM pipe was pretty messed up to begin with.
So would you go header wrap or new flex section and why?
