Maxus Vegas
Hi Guys,

As some of you may know, I live in Vegas. Actually I,m in Summerlin which is 20 minutes north west of the strip. If everyone decides on Vegas, I will make arrangements for hotel rooms and I can check with the Las Vegas Motorsport complex to see if we can use their facilities. As far as entertainment, we can generally do things at the spur of the moment.

If I get involved, there can be no screwing around. I must have dates and then money in a very timely manner. I think the guys that know me will tell you I can be trusted . I am a 59 YO retired dentist. I retired in 1991 and I asssssssssure don't need to make off with your hard earned cash!!

If this event will take place, we must act very soon!!

I need to know how much you want to spend on rooms and also there are suburban casinos where you can stay and use their parking lots. The strip is not a good place to stay because there is no room outside to do anything. You can always drive to the strip.

I use to live in the Cheyenne/Rampart area all of last year. That's just north of you. Well, I just wanted to say hey. And if this event takes place in the first couple weeks in August... I will be there. That's when I'm coming to Vegas to visit my family.

 

Damn, I would love to drive out to Vegas. But, I wont have enough vacation days left. Oh well.....

How about we have Maxus in Birmingham, AL...at Jambo's house.

 

But, I don't need a hotel. I've got family in the area.

Sweet! You can teach me your Zen wisdom of stereo installs. Seriously MaximaDave, I need to upgrade my 2K2 big time. I don't want anything crazy, just a nice sounding system still using the Bose HU. Everything else can be switched out. I'm in LA but a bunch of guys said you guys do good work down there. PM me ok? We'll chat. Stupid question, are you driving up to Vegas? I'm flying, but not like my 2K2 is anythign to look @. We have the same ext. color, mine is just frost cloth, autotragic (silly LA traffic), BOSE junk, sunroof. Hope to hear from ya.

I'll be in vegas, hopefully we can get some events scheduled as well, hotels shouldn't be a problem as there's about 130985713957 of them in vegas.. I say we shoot for a mid august date to give everyone plenty of time. We also have to find a speed shop for dyno runs and start talking to LVMS to see if we can have something going on there.

I30krab, thanks for taking the initiative, this would be better for all if we had official word from jaime or even a moderator. Can someone get in touch with jambo?
