Newbie....question about window tint
Hi everyone!!
My name is Jason. I just purchased a 2002 SE Grey Lustre. It is my first non-american car. So far I'm really satisfied with the car. It has been quite a change for me as my last car was a 2002 Corvette Z06!! The first thing I want to do is tint the windows. I'm trying to decide on the reflective tint vs the dark black tint. I plan to get the tint with metal in it (lifetime warranty!). I need your help. Can you please send me any pictures of a grey lustre maxima with either the black tint or the reflective (mirror-like) tint??? I want to see what the car will look like before I decide on the tint. Also, which brand is better?
Forumla One vs SolarGuard vs ????????
Thank you in advance and I look forward to being a part of the Maxima community. I live in Alpharetta, GA so if there are any other members in this area, send me a hello. Perhaps we can have a get-together.

Well I don't have grey lustre but here is my pic. I live in AZ and I went with 5% all around to try to keep the heat out.
BTW, yesterday we set a record 109, and today its gonna be 111 degrees, and the car is running like dooo dooo

BTW Jason w/the Z06, WHY did you get rid of it?? That's like one of the fastest/best handling cars in the world..the Maxima is a very fast car but nothing compares to a z06....I've seen grey lustre max's on this board with tint so i'm sure they will post up.

Thanks, guys!! I appreciate the information. I think I will go with the black tint. I'm not convinced the platinum metallic or reflective tint will look good with the dark grey. (no offense to those who may have it!!)
About the Z06:
The car was incredible!! Nothing I can say will even be close to the how awesome that car is. However, the car is not cheap, nor practical. I needed a daily driver car that wasn't so expensive and could haul more than me and one person. If I could have afforded two cars, then I would have kept the vette. but finances dictate priorities sometimes. I am very happy with my maxima. It had its first long trip this weekend and I was amazed at how smooth it handled even at 100mph cruising down the highway!!
