What's the price range for Warpspeed subframe connector installation?

I stopped by two performance shops yesterday. I got one quote for $300. Another one for $200. Looks like I have to find a muffler shop to do this for a fair price.

I got my stage 2 installed for $100 at the shop WSP uses, it is a muffler shop. Make sure to find a shop with a drive on lift. I think Dave B payed $75 for stage 1 install from the same people.

You can buy SFC's, and a CAI for that much. Shop around, A shop in SoCal said they would do it for $50 but I got mine done for free

Wow, that's funny. OgreDave and I are going to have ours installed installed today. I don't know how much HB muffler will charge, but they charged me $40 to install my B-pipe and custom weld a flange to make my 5th gen muffler a direct bolt-on to my 97. Took about 30 minutes. If you could tell me where you could install these for $50 or free, that'd be greatly appreciated.

$60 from Midas for Stage 1 installation. They let me stand in the work area and watch.

did you try Rayco down in Silver Spring??? I'm not sure if they'd do them, but its worth a call, they do most everything else!

Re: Re: What's the price range for Warpspeed subframe connector installation?

I was there today. Rayco can't do it. They don't have 4 post lift. They said I'm better off looking for a body shop for this job. Anyway, since I was in Silver Spring, MD area I stopped by New Again. Same thing...no 4 post lift, but the good news is the service manager Ray said he knows someone that can help me out. Ray has a Taurus SHO and he got his sub frame connector installed at this place called Protech Automotive in Gaithersburg. I'm going to call Protech monday morning and see what they can do. I'm searching the SHOforum to see if anyone ever used Protech for their subframe connector install.

update!!

Protech Automotive is a go. They said $100 including all the welding material , whatever that means. I didn't tell them about the stage 2 part, maybe they will do that part for free. If not, Tony's garage motorsports will handle that part.
