QK question about removing cluster

I just got my Chrome cefiro gauge rings, and im trying to take out my gauge cluster. Im following the walkthrough on maximadriver.com, and have run into trouble. Im on step 4 and cant find those 2 bolts, i see a couple but they are way up there with all this stuff in the way. ive already removed the bolts holding that metal piece under the steering column. Here are the pics of the 2 bolts i cant find!

Re: QK question about removing cluster

That bracket is the only thing holding your steering column up. Just trace the bracket to the sides and find those bolts. It is fairly deep in there but nothing a short extension can't handle.

You gotta really get in there and lay on your back to see up there and find them. They should come right out for you, but if you have luck like me, one will be stripped and impossible to get off. I had to remove my trim pieces and cluster with the steering wheel still up, but in the lowest position. I couldnt drop the whole steering column. So if you cant find them, it can still be done, just be firm and careful not to break the pieces. Good luck....

You really don't need to do this step. I was able to take out my cluster without dropping the steering column. Just pry out to black surround around the cluster. Remove the buttons. Remove the three screws around the cluster, and remove the wires at the back of the cluster, then wiggle it out. Easy.
