Suggest an adhesive

Suggest an adhesive

I was trying to install a cell phone holder on my dash and that thing just won't stick. the suction cup doesn't work either. went out and bought some heavy duty double sided 3M tape and that thing fell off in like 2 min. what kind of adhesive do i use on the dash that would stick well but at the same time would be pretty easy to remove and clean if i need to and won't leave any marks. TIA

If you have any dash cleaner its gonna be hard to find something to stick to that

Locktite Superglue

The only thing I can think of would be Locktite Super Glue. I don't know how hard it would be to clean up if you ever want to remove it...but if you choose to use it, the holder will stick and won't go anywhere.

I take it that was the 3M double-sided molding tape? Seems like that should've worked...

3M tape would be the best...did you use an adhesive promoter before applying it?

yea but,

3M also makes some yellow glue you can find at any autoparts store it will do the job and wwhen you take it off it should scrape off with your fingernail )be careful just use a little this stuff is messy)
