Well, I dont really go around town looking for ricers to post about but on this one, I feel it's my duty to do so.

Im driving around town yesterday afternoon and I catch this late 80's Honda Civic on my right. It's the typical ricer. This one is white, with white powdercoated 10 spoke rims, a double-decker spoiler you could seat a family of 6 around, and one other thing that still has the "blank look" frozen on my face.

Now I dont know if this is a common thing or what, but all of the Honda badges were removed (I know this is common) however they were replaced with BMW badges. At first I thought it was just the BMW logo on hood near the grill but as I hit the brakes I noticed the rear had the BMW badge on the trunk lid and a "318 Is" badge on the rear right. It also had BMW stickers and license plate frames.

Now is it possible this person has a Civic body and a BMW engine? I guess it's possible. I didnt have a camera at the time but I will have a camera in my car now and I will hunt down this one. This one needs to be posted.

 

I told my mom to just drive it to the store and back...Parents just don't understand these things.

 

Are you sure that it was a Civic and not a BMW 318is? If it was a Civic then its totally rice.

Im almost positive it was a late-80s Civic, quite possibly the 88 model. One of my roomates had the same one in blue a few years ago.

HAHA, the bimmer boards had posted a few "fakers" out there...
Apparently, there are some old bimmers that have done engine transplants with the nissan SC'ed engine..
there's even one with a VTEC in it, but i don't think he debadged his roundel and put on a honda H... haha

are you talking about that 3series witht the sr20det?

 

yah, that swap is one of the more interesting ones i've found...
the sr20det engine is a PHAT engine...

I witnessed an 80's civic hatchback with a mondo type bodykit, marker painted and scratched, with dishout rims and some peeling tint.

 

I always seem to catch mustangs with GT-R emblems. But if you wanna see rice click on the link in my sig.

 

 

Yah i saw a ford contour with GT-R badges. we should go out and steal them all so idiots dont put them on their $h!tboxes. lol.
