i was driving down rt 2 and this ford probe w/exhaust starts reving it engine...i was like POS.....anyways this dude rolled down his window and was like yo wanna race...i said ye y not...this dude endded up taking me on a 10 min drive before he came to a road that he wanted to race at...so we line up and as soon as he took off i left...i pull on him every gear ended up 4 cars infront of him...we linded up for a 2nd time same results....then the dude pulled over and was wow this have a turbo or something...i was no i have i/y/e...shift kit(vbmod)....i asked him what he had...it ended up being a 94 probe gt 5 sp. i/e and chip....stock they go 0-60 (7.5) 1/4(15.3)??? does that mean i could be in 14's since i beat him be 4 carlengths??? still funny that he thought i had a turbo...his face was like WTF...

 

with a good launch in your car you could DEFINITELY hit high 14s.

lighter wheels would make you car much faster. that should be your next performance mod. imo

 

probe gt's don't run 15.3 stock.. try about 15.8 .. those things are a dog.. and they have no top end.. now if your talking a 1st Gen probe with a Turbo.. that you an modify easily.. even a bone stock maxima should have no problem killing a probe gt
