not at all, the hardest part is the cutting of the clear lens which is not that hard if you take your time so it doesn't crack.

can anyone give me a procedure as to how to do your own clears like that? i have a 96 if that makes a difference.

the 96 has different taillights.. they are upside down from the 97-99 ones (brake lights up top, turn signal + reverse on the bottom) The 95-96 are the other way around... The lens is one piece so taking out the orange piece is not possible. You have to get all clear outer taillights, and paint the bottom side red to match the inner brake light...
