i found an molded dash kit from autodash.com in synthetic brushed aluminum and one from discountdash.com which is stainless what exactly is the difference?

There are no molded kits made from real aluminum, it's not possible with the way the molded kits are made. We are working on somewhat of a molded kit with the real aluminum. Basically we're trying to make the kit cover the sides of the center console too like the molded kits do. That is the number one complaint about our dash kits, that they sit on top. But that is the template we got, and most of the synthetic dash kits out there are flat too.
